We will be waiting for you upon arrival in Vilnius and, if you wish, we can take you from the airport to the hotel. We will greet you with a welcome drink and briefly tell you about the upcoming experiences. We will provide a full list of places where you can have a delicious dinner, tell you which streets are worth walking around, and help you start to get to know Vilnius.

Overnight in Vilnius 3-star hotel.

After breakfast in your hotel, a pleasant acquaintance with the charming Old Town of the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, awaits you. Modern and baroque architecture intertwines in charming ways in this city, the cobbled streets hold interesting stories, and the facades of the buildings transport you centuries into the past. But the city’s beauty is not just historical! During the tour, we will visit the Uzupis district. This neighborhood was founded by artists twenty years ago and declared an independent republic within the city of Vilnius.
The introduction to Vilnius will continue for about 2.5 hours. Afterward we will take an excursion to the small town of Trakai, located in a fairy-tale landscape of lakes, islands, and medieval castles. After admiring the views, we will pay a visit to the famous castle.
This city is famous not only for its architectural landmarks and rich history but also for a dish that came from the Karaim people and became famous all over Lithuania – kibinai! It is said that the most delicious kibinai are produced in Trakai, so we invite you to taste them.
After visiting Trakai, you will return to Vilnius. Here you can enjoy the Lithuanian historical dinner or the tasting of the best Lithuanian beers.

Overnight in Vilnius 3-star hotel.

After a full breakfast, you will go on a trip and visit the second largest Lithuanian city – Kaunas, and on the way, we will stop in Rumsiskes village. One of the largest open-air museums in Europe has been established in this village! Here you will get acquainted with the authentic architecture and folk traditions of the Lithuanian regions, enter an authentic 18th – 20th-century village hut, and discover how Lithuanians lived in centuries past.
After arriving in Kaunas, you will be transported to the time between the two world wars, when this city was the capital of Lithuania. Today, of course, there is a different feeling here – the city is vibrant and prosperous, and it has been declared the European Capital of Culture of 2022!

Overnight in Kaunas 3-star hotel.

After eating breakfast and getting ready for the day, you will travel to the other side of Lithuania! It is a long road, but never fear, there are many walks, and experiences waiting for you along the way! Driving along the banks of the Nemunas River you will stop in the beautiful town of Panemune and visit Panemune Castle. You will visit the impressive 3-kilometer-long hiking trail in Aukštumala swamp, surrounded by peaceful nature, and as you drive further, you will pass many villages and towns nestled in the bends of the river.
At the end of your journey, you will arrive in Rusne – the largest island in Lithuania, where you will be greeted by a local host with a rich homemade dinner! Spend the evening walking around the small town of Rusne, where you can see authentic fishermen’s homesteads. And if you want, you can pamper yourself with the warmth of the local’s favorite sauna.

Overnight in Rusne Cottage.
Please note that the bathroom may be shared between a few rooms in the cottage.

In the morning, a delicious home-cooked breakfast awaits, followed by a tour of the town of Vente. Here you will visit a place called Vente Horn – a hub of ornithology, a paradise for birdwatchers, a place where thousands of migrating birds take flight every day!
In addition to Vente, you will visit other small authentic villages on the Curonian Lagoon. The Curonian Lagoon looks exactly like the sea, but it’s actually a large body of water separated from the sea by a narrow peninsula – the Curonian Spit. To Lithuanians this peninsula is a corner of paradise, a favorite holiday destination and an oasis of peace, where enchanting small villages lie amidst beautiful sand dunes and evergreen forests, washed by the Curonian Lagoon on one side and by the Baltic Sea on the other.
While you are on this land we invite you to taste the local fresh smoked fish and admire the breathtaking Parnidis dune. After these experiences, we will return to the Lithuanian port city – Klaipeda.

Overnight in Klaipeda 3-4-star hotel.

After eating breakfast in Klaipeda, you will go on new experiences. On the way back to Vilnius you will take in one of the most popular Lithuanian seaside resorts – Palanga. There you will see buildings from the town’s heyday in the 19th century and visit the largest amber museum in the world. After seeing the exhibition, you will understand why amber is often referred to as Lithuanian gold!
On the way to Vilnius, another special site awaits you – the Hill of Crosses. While many guests who come to Lithuania want to visit this impressive place, due to its remote location, few get the chance.
Finally, you will have a nice evening in Vilnius with one more opportunity to walk through any places you missed in the first days.

Overnight in Vilnius 3-star hotel.

This is a day to say “Goodbye” and “See you next time!” Afterward we will drive you to the airport.
